This project was a tender design for a Paddington Bear FEC suitable for children aged 2-6.

I Designed the layout, devised attractions and activities, art directed concept artwork production,and worked with the director to develop a cost estimate and produced the presentation.

The chosen activities had to be cost effective, capacious enough for the expected attendance, diverse, and reflect the essence of the Paddington Bear IP.

A Key feature included a Paddington Station themed arrival hall and retail area, with characters visible from the train windows.

There was also a recreation of Paddingtons home (32 Windsor Gardens) including ball play area themed to a bathroom overflowing with bubbles, a Kitchen themed net play area themed to a mess of marmalade, and a living room themed craft zone. Other features included a Corner Store, Garden with Playground, street carnival and theatrette.

The project involved careful cost control and design in order to ensure the best chance of success with the tender.

At the same time the propsoal had to include engaging activities for young children that carefully incorporated places from the Paddington universe.
