Pico Play was subcontracted by Triotech to construct the theming for the Ninjago Dark ride in Legoland, Korea. We were able to leverage Australia's isolation from the Covid-19 pandemic to “keep working”. Myself and an intern under my supervision adapted the design from a previous Ninjago ride installation, to the modified facility for Korea. We produced all shop drawings for the entire thematic fit out, including wall panelling, ceiling, beams and 3D props, and prepared 3D sculpted projection mapped set designs from triotech for CNC milling. Translating designs into models suitable for for CNC milling was a steep learning curve!

Of importance Cost effective design that was easy to install to meet project budgets and timelines, yet we still had to meet the exacting expectations of the Lego brand.
