As part of regional tourism efforts, Mildura sought to bring two major light installations by renowned Artist Bruce Munroe to the edge of the outback.

A new project type for me; I visited a number of potential recommended sites for the installations, then worked with the team conducting operational planning. We translatied expected visitor numbers to nightly attendance figures, and used this to inform actual facility requirements such as parking, amenities and viewing areas.

Of importance was accurate costing of event, plus forecasting of ticket sales based on local visitor data to demonstrate feasibility.
